1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Lluvia, its website and dashboard, the Rainy Discord bot, and related services provided by Lluvia (collectively, the "Service"). By signing in, authorizing an integration, installing Rainy, configuring a server, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you act on behalf of a Discord community or organization, you represent that you have authority to take the actions you perform on its behalf.
2. Description of the Service
Lluvia provides tools to help manage Discord communities. Rainy is the Discord application through which supported server features operate. The Lluvia website provides Discord-based authentication, server selection, settings, and account or administrative interfaces.
Depending on availability and configuration, features may include announcements, onboarding, reaction roles, moderation workflows, community automation, and AI-assisted functionality. Some features are planned and may not yet be available. Future Tide services may include Twitch chat participation, stream-event integrations, and overlays. Descriptions of planned features do not guarantee release dates or continued availability.
We may add, modify, suspend, or retire features as the Service develops.
4. Server Owner and Administrator Responsibilities
Server owners and administrators are responsible for deciding whether to install Rainy, selecting appropriate bot permissions, configuring enabled features, and informing community members about relevant automation, moderation, and AI features.
You must have the necessary authority to install or configure the bot, submit content, connect third-party services, and grant access to channels, roles, or other server resources. You remain responsible for your server's rules, moderation decisions, content, and compliance with applicable laws.
Removing Rainy may disable bot functionality but does not, by itself, cancel a paid subscription. See Section 7.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not use the Service to violate law, Discord policies, or the rights of others. Prohibited activities include harassment, threats, discrimination, spam, malware distribution, scams, unauthorized access, credential harvesting, abuse of APIs, interference with Service security, or attempts to evade restrictions or bans.
Do not configure Rainy to impersonate people deceptively, publish private information without authorization, or generate harmful or unlawful content. Do not use the Service to overwhelm Discord, Twitch, Lluvia, or third-party systems.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate action, including restricting features, disabling server access, suspending accounts, or banning servers.
6. AI Features
Some Current and future Tide features may use third-party AI providers. AI-generated content may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate. Do not rely on AI output as professional legal, medical, financial, or safety advice; independently verify consequential information.
Server administrators are responsible for enabling and configuring AI features appropriately. Content submitted to enabled AI features may be processed by third-party providers as explained in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information unless you have authority to do so and understand the applicable processing.
AI features may be subject to usage limits, safety restrictions, and availability changes.
7. Subscription Plans, Trials, and Sponsorships
Lluvia's planned subscription tiers are:
- Flow: Standard community-management features without AI; intended as the free tier.
- Current: Flow features plus available AI capabilities and configurable Rainy personality.
- Tide: Current features plus future creator-focused functionality, including planned Twitch integrations. Tide functionality may not yet be available.
Eligible servers receive an initial 30-day Current trial beginning when Rainy's first installation is confirmed. Reinstalling Rainy does not restart a previously used trial. Lluvia may grant sponsored Current access at its discretion; sponsorship does not include Tide and may be time-limited or withdrawn according to any communicated conditions.
When paid subscriptions become available, purchases, billing, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and refunds will be handled through Discord Subscriptions under Discord's applicable terms and policies. Lluvia does not collect or store customer payment card details, billing addresses, or payment credentials. Lluvia will process Discord entitlement creation, update, and deletion events to determine feature access. This integration is planned and is not represented as already launched.
If a paid subscription is cancelled, paid-tier access ordinarily continues through the recorded paid-through or renewal deadline, after which the server returns to Flow unless another entitlement applies. Expired trials and sponsorships may also revert to Flow. Cancellation does not automatically remove Rainy from Discord, and uninstalling Rainy does not automatically cancel billing. Users must manage cancellation through Discord.
We may correct subscription errors or prevent misuse of trials, but will not intentionally promise a paid feature before it is available.
8. Third-Party Services and Future Twitch Integrations
The Service depends on third parties, including Discord, hosting providers, and, where enabled, AI providers. Future Tide services may connect to Twitch and process stream-related events and chat interactions with the permissions authorized by the relevant account holder.
Third-party services may change their APIs, permissions, policies, or availability. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for their independent operations or outages.
9. Content and Permissions
You retain rights you hold in content you submit or configure. You grant Lluvia a limited, nonexclusive permission to access, process, transmit, display, and store that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and support the features you choose to use.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content and authorize its processing. You are responsible for ensuring announcements, automated messages, and other configured outputs comply with your community rules and applicable law.
10. Availability, Changes, and Support
The Service is offered on an evolving basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, any particular uptime, compatibility with all servers, or continued availability of a particular feature. Maintenance, Discord or hosting disruptions, security incidents, and changes to third-party APIs may affect operation.
Support may be requested through the official Lluvia website at https://lluvia.dev/support. Response times are not guaranteed unless separately agreed in writing.
11. Restrictions, Suspension, and Banned Servers
We may restrict an account or server where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, respond to legal requirements, or preserve the Service's security and stability.
A server banned from Lluvia may still be technically able to reinstall Rainy through Discord. Such an installation does not lift the ban: Rainy may provide a brief support notice where permitted and then leave the server. A restriction or uninstall does not automatically terminate any existing paid billing obligation; applicable cancellation and refund terms still govern.
If you believe a restriction was made in error, contact support.
12. Data Retention and Removal
Removing Rainy or losing subscription access does not necessarily erase registered-server records, account information, configuration, or other necessary service records. Some information may be retained to restore settings, maintain subscription history, enforce bans, prevent repeated trials, protect security, or meet legal obligations. Details and available requests are explained in our Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual Property
Lluvia's branding, Rainy character artwork, website presentation, and other original materials belong to their respective rights holders. Third-party trademarks remain the property of their owners.
The software may contain open-source components, and any publicly licensed source code remains governed by its applicable license. Nothing in these Terms overrides rights granted under an applicable open-source license.
You may not misuse Lluvia branding or represent yourself as an official Lluvia representative without permission.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure against every threat, or suitable for every use case.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lluvia will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of the Service. Any further limitation or liability cap should be finalized with qualified legal review and applicable consumer-protection requirements in mind.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms as the Service changes. We will publish the revised version and update the month and year shown above. Once server logging notifications are available, updates to these Terms will also be announced in each server's configured Lluvia logging channel. We may provide additional notice where appropriate or legally required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
